pants that don't stay put
I'm early in my second trimester but my regular jeans are starting to press into my belly so I ordered a pair of these Citizens in my pre-pregnancy size. They seemed to fit fine, and I stupidly clipped the tags thinking I'd keep them. Trouble struck when I took these jeans for a walk: they started to slide down my hips and I had to keep hiking them up for the duration of my walk. The panel was useless in keeping the pants in place. Perhaps when my belly gets bigger the panel will have something to hold on to. However, as this is not currently the case, I am completely disappointed in these jeans. What a waste of money.
By the way, for the length: they are definitely much longer than most petite pants. More like 31". (Longer still if you have the sliding issue.)

Great Purchase
I loved Citizen jeans for years and was so excited when I saw that they make maternity jeans. I knew it would be worth spending the extra $ because of the quality and fit - I don't seem to fit well into store brand jeans. I am 5' 3" and was about 125 pre pregnancy and usually wore a size 27. I purchased these in a 28 to leave a little room for weight gain and hoping to be able to wear them throughout my pregnancy. I'm only 14 weeks w/ a tiny baby bump but my regular jeans became too uncomfortable to wear even with a belly band. SO glad I made the switch to maternity jeans! The band is so much more comfortable than trying to wear my regular jeans open and there is a good amount of stretch in the jeans to make wearing them all day comfortable. I was worried about the petite - the 30" inseam seemed like it might be just an inch too short but these are definitely longer than that. I still have about an extra inch or two at the bottom. The jeans run a bit smaller than I expected but the stretch leaves me to believe that they will still fit when I gain more weight. People couldn't tell they were maternity jeans which was another plus. Definitely worth the extra $, can even be worn after baby!

best jeans!
These were my favorite jeans pre-maternity and the maternity ones fit exactly the same! I love the wash, the rise feels a little lower without the waistband, but not so low that I am bothered. I wanted to invest in a pair of classic bootcut with a great rinse, and I am not disappointed. The price may be a little steep, but I know I will wear these to death! I am 5'4 and the legs are a little long, but after I wash them I don't anticipate needing to have them hemmed.

These fit perfect, true to size w a little room to grow. Super comfortable and flattering.
